Ship2Brazil 2
While elsewhere in the world ports are suffering from less trade and cargo, most Brazilian ports are booming! Exports of agribulk, minerals and other commodities are rising exponentially. This surge in trade provides opportunties for both Brazilian and foreign businesses.
But there is more! Privatization of several ports is being prepared and the promotion of short sea trade (cabotage) along Brazil's immense coastline is on the government's agenda, offering huge opportunities for maritime transportation.
In view of these opportunities and in order to reach out to our friends in Brazil, Atlantico Business Development has taken the initiative to promote Brazilian ports and shipping in a series of international webinars: Ship2Brazil. A second edtion, Ship2Brazil 2, has now been announced, set for December 3rd, 15.00 hrs in Continental Europe.
Ship2Brazil 2 will feature as speakers the CEO's of three of Brazil's top ports: the Port of Paranaguá, the Port of Itajaí, both in the south, and the Port and Industrial Complex of Suape in the North East of the country.
Ship2Brazil 2 will be sponsored by the Port of Paranaguá (Portos do Paraná), the Green Award Foundation, Rotterdam Partners, Unimar - Agênciamentos Marítimos and Logitrade.
The first edition took place on September 10th, 2020, broadcasting live from the World Trade Center in Rotterdam. During the first edition of Ship2Brazil we focused on three different ports in various regions of Brazil: the Port and Industrial Complex of Pecém in the Northeast, the Port of Açu in the Southeast and Santos Port Authority further south.
This first edition of Ship2Brazil was made possible thanks to sponsoring by the Port and Industrial Complex of Pecém, the Port of Açu, Green Award Foundation, Rabb Carvalho Law and Rotterdam Partners. We were also grateful for the support of Santos Port Authority, Unimar - Agenciamentos Marítimos and World Trade Center Rotterdam.
