Welcome to the first (online) edition of railcargo4iberia, the new international go-to event for railfreight within and with the Iberian Peninsula!

The first edition of railcargo4iberia, another initiative of Atlantico Business Development, will take place on May 27th, 2021, from 15.00 - 16.30 hrs CET and will be broadcast live from our studio in Rotterdam and will be catering to an international audience.

The potential for rail freight both within Spain and Portugal as well as between the Iberian Peninsula and the rest of Europe is huge. On the other hand there is a pressing need to switch cargo from truck to rail in order to reduce the carbon footprint of Europe's transport.

Furthermore various parties, like Iberian ports and terminal operators, have been investing heavily in the rail transport modality and rail cargo operators have started to offer a fine and growing network of connections. So it's high time to start promoting these developments internationally, which led us to initiate this new event: railcargo4iberia!
